Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has been asked to declare his interest and run for the office of president in the 2023 presidential election. The Director-General of a group known as the North Central Coalition For Leadership, Umar Ghadaffi, made this known in a statement on Saturday.
Ghadaffi said that governor Bello is the most favorable for the office of the president, coming from a geo-political zone (North-Central). He added that the Kogi governor is the right leader who “will lead the birth of a new Nigeria”.

Authorities in Kisii county have launched manhunt for a census official who vanished with data capture kits on Saturday, August 24, just before the national exercise commenced.
